Possible Cause
The subject was too bright.
When photographs turn out too dark:
Possible Cause
The flash was obstructed by fingers or other
objects.
The subject was too far from the camera for the
flash to be effective.
Flash is set to off.
When the color of the Images appear odd:
Possible Cause
No white area on the subject.
White Balance setting incorrect.
When parts of the images are missing:
Possible Cause
The lens is partially covered by fingers or the
strap.
Shooting distance too close.
When the image is out of focus:
Possible Cause
Camera movement during still image capture.
The lens is dirty.
Photographer was standing in front of the
camera when pressing the shutter button (Self-
Timer shots).
Flash is off even when the lighting condition is
poor. As exposure time is prolonged, camera
movement will cause the image to be off focus.
The subject is too near.
Adjust the
exposure
or change the angle of shot.
Adjust the angle of shot and remove obstructive objects.
Move closer to the subject. Alternatively, turn off the
tripod stand.
Set to Auto/Red-eye.
Introduce a white item or set the
condition.
