After switching on, the cordless phone is in stand-by mode. In stand-by mode,
the cordless phone is ready to make or receive calls and consumes little
energy. In this mode the display may show several icons and other informa-
tion. For more details see "Information on display" on page 37.
Tip
If you are not using the cordless phone to make or receive calls, you can put
the cordless phone in the charger to keep it fully charged.
