Power Windows
Power windows have an ignition in-
terlock so the windows cannot be op-
erated unless the ignition switch is in
the "on" or "accessory" position. Re-
minder:
Remove the ignition key
when the vehicle is not attended by
a responsible person. A master con-
trol for all windows is provided at
the d r
i
v e r 's position.
Individual
switches are provided under each
window
for passenger use.
Glove Box
The glove box is locked and un-
locked with the oval key. The door
should always be closed when not in
use.
Fuel Tank
The fuel
tank,
filler pipe and all
tank connections have been carefully
designed to reduce fuel leakage after
termination of certain collisions. This
design reduces fire hazards in these
collisions.
Hood Release
Move hood release to right of vehicle
to open the
hood.
If the hood must be
slammed to insure closing, it needs
adjustment.
Rear Compartment
Unlock and open the counter-
balanced
trunk
lid with the oval key.
Close the lid firmly to close the lock.
The spare tire and auto jack are lo-
cated in the
trunk.
Gas Cap
The gas cap is located behind the
license plate on all models. All models
use a non-vented gas cap. If the gas
cap is lost,
see
your"'
Authorized
Chevrolet Dealer for a replacement.
CAUTION: Gasoline is flammable and explosive under certain conditions. Always stop the engine and do not smoke
or
allow open flames
or
sparks near the vehicle when refueling. If gasoline fumes are noticed while driving, the cause should be determined and corrected
without delay.
