    The Extron IPL M PDP-ES is an Ethernet-based interface card designed to enhance the support and control of Pioneer’s fourth generation plasma displays. The IPL M PDP-ES is powered directly from the plasma, and includes factory-loaded control and scheduling features accessible via a standard Web browser.

    Firmware upgrades become available periodically as improvements are made to the versatility and functionality of the IPL M PDP-ES interface card. These upgrades are available for download from the Extron Web site. For details on how to upgrade the firmware, see Upgrading the firmware in chapter 4.

    The on-board Web server has a set of built in, default Web pages, which can be accessed via a Web browser. These pages are used to control the IPL M PDP-ES interface card within the Pioneer plasma, as well as monitoring and scheduling events.
