GRP, PRP, and Line Card Memory Overview
For a line card to operate, both receive packet memory DIMM sockets and both transmit packet memory

DIMM sockets must be populated. The SDRAM DIMMs installed in a given buffer (either receive or
transmit) must be the same type and size, but receive and transmit buffers can operate with different
memory sizes.
