To skip to the previous directory
Press ∞ (down) briefly while playing an MP3 disc.
Each time you press the button consecutively, the
previous directory is located (and the first file in
the directory starts playing, if recorded).
Ex.1: While playing an MP3 file in Directory 03

• If you reach the root, playback will not begin.
Note:
If the directory does not contain any MP3 files, it is
skipped.

Selecting MP3 playback modes

To play back files at random (Random Play)
You can play back all files on the MP3 disc at
random.

Press MODE to enter the functions
mode while playing an MP3 disc.
"MODE" flashes on the lower part
of the display, and the number
buttons work as different function
buttons.

Press RND (random), while
"MODE" flashes on the display, so
that "RND1" or "RND2" appears
on the display.
Each time you press RND (random),
the random play mode changes as
follows:
RND1
Mode
RND
Indicator
RND1 Lights
RND2 Flashes
RND indicator
Ex.: When "RND1" is selected.
RND2
Canceled
Plays at random
All files of the current
directory.
All files on the disc.
