Suggested action
v Verify that the keyboard/mouse/video select button LED
on the front of the blade server is lit, indicating that the
blade server is connected to the shared BladeCenter
keyboard.
v Ensure that the keyboard cable is connected to the
BladeCenter unit and nothing is resting on the
keyboard keys.
Start the Configuration/Setup Utility program and verify
that the parallel-port setting is correct.
Verify that the serial cable is connected correctly.
Start the Configuration/Setup Utility program and ensure
that the IRQ and I/O port assignments needed by the
serial port are available.
Start the Configuration/Setup Utility program and verify
that the interrupt resource settings are correct.
v Verify that the keyboard/mouse/video select button LED
on the front of the blade server is lit, indicating that the
blade server is connected to the shared BladeCenter
monitor.
v Verify that the monitor is connected correctly to the
BladeCenter unit.
Verify that processor x is installed correctly. If the problem
remains, replace processor x.

that the resources needed by the PCI adapter are
available.
Have the system board serviced.
