Replacing components in your Gateway Solo 1450

Use a pair of needle-nose pliers to pinch the two tabs that hold the latch
together, then pull the latch and spring assembly away from the panel.

Remove the latch button from the panel.

The LCD latch assembly contains small parts and a strong
spring. While removing the assembly, be careful to keep
the spring on its mounting post or it will fall off the post
and will be difficult to find. You can use a small piece of
tape to help keep the spring in place.
