    RS-232 #2 when connected. When the modem is disconnected, the RS-232 #2 has control. The PTC-892 has two nine pin subminiature “D” connectors on the rear panel for RS-232 communications. The RJ-11 jack located on the rear panel allows the unit to directly connect to a phone line when the optional internal modem is installed.
