4 Port Communications 2 Serial 2 IP Decodes CC1-CC4 or S1-S6 The SCE-492 is a standard definition, high definition, or three gigabits serial digital interface closed caption encoder or shortened to SD/HD/3G SDI CC Encoder. It will accept SD/HD/3G SDI transport streams and give three closed caption encoded outputs with the option of one of them being decoded of the same format as the input.
Operating Instructions The SCE-492 for the most part is plug and play, should the need arise there are menus to allow you to change the settings. You should familiarize yourself with the Information Display. All four communication ports are always active so you will not have to turn them on or off.
The units default IP address is 192.168.0.235, port number 10001 is Ethernet port 1, and port number 10002 is Ethernet port 2. The Ethernet connector of the SCE-492 has a web page that allows you to change network settings of the device.
