Setting ° F / ° C Scale
The factory setting for temperature is ° F. To change this
setting to ° C;
Press the ON H/L key and the OFF CONTINUOUS PILOT
key on the transmitter at the same time. This will change
from ° F to ° C. Follow this same procedure to change from
° C to ° F.
Manual Function
To operate the system in the manual "MODE" do the follow-
ing:
ON - HI Flame Operation
Press and release the ON H/L key. The appliance flame will
come ON and flame on HI.
During this time the LCD screen will show "HI". After 3
seconds, the LCD screen will default to display room tem-
perature and the word "TEMP" will show. (Flame icon will

appear on the LCD screen in ON mode)
F-C display
ON - LO Flame Operation

Press and release the ON H/L key. The appliance flame will
stay ON and flame on LO.
During this time, the LCD screen will show "LO". After 3
seconds, the LCD screen will default to display room tem-
perature and the word "TEMP" will show. (Flame icon will
appear on the LCD screen in ON mode)
NOTE: If this SP1001H/LTH transmitter is used with the DC
motor drive HI/LO flame control, press and hold the ON H/L
key to raise or lower the flame height.
OFF Operation
Press the OFF Continuous Pilot key and the appliance
flame will shut off. During this time the LCD screen will show
"OF". After 3 seconds, the LCD screen will default to dis-
play room temperature and the word "TEMP" will also show
on the screen. (Flame icon will NOT appear on the LCD
screen in OFF mode)
Thermostat Function
Setting Desired Room Temperature
This remote control system can be thermostatically con-
trolled when the transmitter is in the THERMO mode. To set
the THERMO MODE and DESIRED room temperature.
Press the MODE key until the LCD screen shows the word
"ROOM". The remote is now in the thermostatic mode.
NOTE: When the word "ROOM" is displayed on the
screen, the transmitter is in the thermo mode.
