Marine Head & Holding Tank
Check with local authorities for regulations regarding the legal use of marine head systems.
Electric Flush Head with Holding Tank (If Equipped)
FLOODING and SWAMPING HAZARD!
• Close the seawater intake seacock when leaving your boat unattended for any length of
time.
• If the seacock is left open, a hose failure could flood the bilge, swamp the batteries and the
engines, and even sink your boat.
• Read the marine head operation
and maintenance manual before
using the marine head for the
first time.
• The electric flush marine head
uses seawater to flush waste from
the toilet into the holding.tank.
• The seawater intake valve (sea-
cock) must be Open for the head
to work.
• Check the content level of the
holding tank often by looking at
the side of tank.
• Empty the holding tank at every
opportunity.
• The holding tank is plumbed to a
fitting on the deck for dockside
pump-out.
• Keep the intake seacock Closed
while your boat is underway or
when the system will not be used
for long periods of time.
