FLOODING and SWAMPING HAZARD!
• Close the seawater intake seacock when leaving your boat unattended.
• If the seacock is left open, a hose failure could flood the bilge, swamp the batteries and the
engine, and even sink your boat.
• Before using this system,
read the marine head's
operation and maintenance
manual.
• Look at the side of the
holding tank to check the
content level.
• The dockside pump-out
deck fitting is marked
WASTE.
• Empty the holding tank at
every opportunity.
Using the Marine Head
1. Open the head's seawater
intake seacock.
2. Before using the head,
pump water into the bowl
to wet the sides.
3. After use, pump until the
bowl is clean.
4. Pump a few more times to
clean the lines.
5. If excess waste causes the
water to rise in the bowl,
stop pumping until the
water recedes.
• Close the intake seacock when the system will not be used for long periods of time.
Winterizing the System
Read the marine head's operation and maintenance manual for winterizing instructions.
