Taking pictures
When you record motion pictures, the camera performs aperture control within the
appropriate exposure range, and the depth of field may not change for some subject
brightness levels.

About setting items

Only the menu items which are displayed in the [Snapshot Mode] can be set. The settings
selected in the [Program AE] or other modes will reflect on the menu items in the [Setup]
menu that are not displayed.
Settings that can be made for the following items are different from the settings that
can be made in other recording modes.
• [Self Timer]
• [Burst Shooting]
• [Picture Size] in the [Rec] menu
• [Beep] in the [Setup] menu
The settings for the following functions are fixed:
• [Quality]:
• [White Balance]: [AWB]
• [AF Assist Lamp]: [ON]
• [Flash Synchro]: [1ST]
• [Stabilizer]: [ON]
• [Continuous AF]: [ON]
• [Wind Cut]: [AUTO]

The function will turn [OFF] in the following cases.
