Make sure to check the condition before leaving Japan.

When the ISW11K is Stolen or Lost
• If the ISW11K is lost or stolen while overseas, please
contact Customer Service Center immediately to suspend
phone service. Please be aware that any calling charges
and packet communication charges incurred after theft or
loss of a phone are the responsibility of the customer.
• If the au IC-Card inserted into the ISW11K is stolen or
lost, the card may be inserted into another mobile phone
(including GSM mobile phone for overseas use) by a
third party. So, it is recommended to set the PIN code to
protect from improper use by a third party.

Services Overseas
• Calling charges differ depending on the country/region.
• Discount services do not apply to calling charges
incurred while overseas.
• Calling charges are also incurred when receiving calls
overseas.
• Depending on the country/region, calling charges may be
incurred from the time that you tap
Configuring the Overseas
Settings
To use the ISW11K overseas, you are required to change to
the telecommunications carrier's networks that you connect
to at your travel destination.
Please obtain the latest PRL before traveling.

Obtaining the PRL (Roaming Area
Information)
The PRL (roaming area information) contains information
on roaming areas of overseas partner providers who have
signed an international roaming contract with KDDI (au).
1 From the Main Menu, Settings → Wireless &
networks → Mobile networks → Roaming settings →
PRL settings → Update PRL version.
The PRL is obtained. Download the PRL data by
following the on-screen instructions.
• When you download the PRL data, packet
communication charges apply.
• Be aware that service may be unavailable in some
areas if you do not update the PRL.
