Configure the slaves for Slave mode before configuring the master.
To configure a slave, do the following:
1. Make sure the product is connected to a power source.
2. Press <MENU> repeatedly until MS shows on the display.
3. Press <ENTER>. Yes or No shows on the display.
4. Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select Yes.
5. Press <ENTER>. MS Master shows on the display.
6. Use <UP> or <DOWN> until No shows on the display.
7. Press <ENTER>. MS Mode shows on the display.
8. Use <UP> or <DOWN> until the desired Master/Slave mode (1–3) shows on the display.
9. Press <ENTER>. MS Address shows on the display.
10. Use <UP> or <DOWN> until the desired MS address (1–3) shows.
11. Press <ENTER>. MS and Yes show on the display.
12. Press <MENU>. Yes stops showing on the display.
Configure the master after all the slaves are configured and connected to it.
To configure the master, do the following:
1. Make sure the product is connected to a power source.
2. Press <MENU> repeatedly until MS shows on the display.
3. Press <ENTER>. Yes shows on the display.
4. Press <ENTER>. MS Master shows on the display.
5. Use <UP> or <DOWN> until Yes shows on the display.
6. Press <ENTER>. MS Mode shows on the display.
7. Use <UP> or <DOWN> until the desired Master/Slave mode (1–3) shows.
8. Press <ENTER>. MS Address shows on the display.
9. Press <UP> or <DOWN> until the desired MS address (1–3) shows.
10. Press <ENTER>. MS and Yes show on the display.
11. Press <MENU>. Yes stops showing on the display.
Once the master is configured, select Automatic or Sound mode. For more information see

When MS shows on the display, the MotionOrb™ menu is at the Main programming level,
and pressing <MENU> scrolls through the main level functions.
The MotionOrb™ comes standard in a 2 meter length but MotionOrb™ Extensions can be
added to make the MotionOrb™ up to 4 meters long. Each extension is 1 meter long. The
Length setting configures the MotionOrb™ for the number of strings are attached.
To configure the MotionOrb™ length, do the following:
1. Press <MENU> repeatedly until Length shows on the display.
2. Press <ENTER>. A length option shows on the display.
3. Press <UP> or <DOWN> until the desired length shows on the display.
4. Press <ENTER>.
5. Press <MENU>. The desired length stops showing on the display.
The MotionOrb™ functions correctly only if the Length setting matches the total length of
orb strings installed. For example, if the MotionOrb™ is set to 4M, but the length is only 2
meters long, the effects macros will not display properly and the pixel mapping will not
work.
