Note the following points, which may cause
malfunction or damage, when handling the au
IC-Card.
• Do not touch the IC (metal) part of the au
IC-Card or the IC card terminal inside the
product.
• Insert the IC card in the correct direction.
• Do not use force to install or remove the IC
card.

Disconnect all cables and cords from the
connector before installing or removing an au
IC-Card.
◎
An error message will appear on the display if
the au IC-Card is installed incorrectly or if there
is some problem with the au IC-Card.
◎
Do not lose the au IC-Card after it has been
removed.
◎
Do not install a micro au IC-Card with a
conversion adapter. Doing so can cause
malfunction.
