Pre-scans can be used to check:
•
The colouring is correct.
•
The hue, saturation, brightness and contrast are correct.
•
The scanner has correctly recognised the orientation (portrait or landscape).
If everything is satisfactory, you can proceed to scan – section 6.5, otherwise you can apply Image
Adjustments – section 6.4.
6.3.3
The Thumbnail Panel is used to select the images to which the Image Adjustments (section 6.4)
are to be applied. The images can be individually selected or deselected by clicking the checkbox
under the image, or the plus and minus signs can be clicked to Select All or Deselect All
respectively.
The picture currently displayed in the Preview window is framed in red.
