Possible Cause
MC55 was Connect the power cable correctly. Confirm main battery is charging
disconnected from AC under Start > Settings > System > Power. The 2400 mAh battery
power too soon. fully charges in approximately four hours and the 3600 mAh battery
charges in approximately six hours.
Battery is faulty. Verify that other batteries charge properly. If so, replace the faulty
battery.
The MC55 is not fully Detach and re-attach the power cable to the MC55, ensuring it is
attached to power. firmly connected.
Replace the MC55 in the cradle. The 2400 mAh battery fully
charges in approximately four hours and the 3600 mAh
battery charges in approximately six hours.
Replace the battery.
Remove the MC55 from the cradle, and re-insert correctly. If

the MC55 is correctly inserted and charging.
Move to an area where the ambient temperature is between

the contacts facing down.
