3. Charging voltage
• Start the engine.
• 3,800 r/min (no load)
• Measure the charging voltage.
Tester positive lead →
Tester negative lead →

Charging voltage:
12 ~ 16 V
Refer to Service Data Section for Specification
4. Charging coil resistance
• Disconnect the charging coil connector.
• Connect the pocket tester (Ω × 1) to the
charging coil.
Tester positive lead → White terminal 1
Tester negative lead → Ground 2
Charging coil resistance:
White-Ground:
Refer to Service Data Section for Specification 0.35 Ω ± 20% at 20 °C (68 °F)
