Select an 8650 Color Printer
Dialog Box
The Select an 8650 Color Printer dialog box is accessed
by clicking the Select button in the 8650 Color Printer
dialog box.This dialog box displays the location (on
Macintosh) or ports (on Windows) and the 8650 color
printers that are connected (either directly or by a
network) to them. The dialog box also indicates the print
media and ribbon type currently loaded in the printer.

Button and Field Descriptions

Update —refreshes the screen and replaces any
information that has changed.
Network —on Macintosh systems network printing is only
available when the optional Network Interface Card is
installed on the printer and the printer is connected to an
Ethernet network. When you select this button, the 8650
Color Printers dialog box opens. See the "8650 Color
Printers" section in this chapter for more information.
On Windows systems this option is only available when
the operating system is Windows 95. When you select
this button, the network's dialog box opens.
