What's in the Box

For USB Connection:

Available for Online/Internet downloading, Extended User Guide, PC Drivers and Printer Software (firmware.)

Unpack and Plug in

Remove tape

Load a minimum of 10 sheets of paper in the printer and open the paper exit tray.
Remove paper
Power on

After AC plug is plugged into AC outlet, Power LED (yellow) will be blinking.

Download PC Drivers and Software

Note: Requires Internet connection.

For PC Users:
Is your anti-virus software up-to-date.

Where are the SSID and the Security Key?
The SSID and the security code may be found on the bottom or rear of the router.

Please install for each PC, Laptop, Smartphone or Tablet PC the Kodak Verité drivers or app. See below for how to details.

PC / Laptop driver download

Download a PC driver using the following URL.
www.kodakverite.com/support

* Requires Mac OS X v10.9 or later
Open the downloaded PC driver.
Install the PC driver and set up your printer via USB or Wi-Fi by following the on-screen instructions.
For more information on ink cartridge calibration, go to www.kodakverite.com/support
If the following screen appears, the installation and setup are complete.
For the best results update your printer software (firmware) to the latest version through the Kodak Verité PC drivers or mobile app.

Smartphone or Tablet app download

Search "kodak verite" at AppStore or Google Play.

Install "KODAK VERITE Print&Scan".
Open "KODAK VERITE Print&Scan".
Set up the printer by following the on-screen instructions.
For more information on ink cartridge calibration, go to www.kodakverite.com/support
If the following screen appears, the installation and setup are complete.
For the best results update your printer software (firmware) to the latest version through the Kodak Verité PC drivers or mobile app.

How to

Install Ink Cartridges

After installation is successful, Power LED (yellow) will light up.

Load Paper

Load a minimum of 10 or up to 60 sheets of paper (20 lb. or 75 g/m²)
Open the paper exit tray with exit tray extender.

Copy and Scan in application

1. Printer
  
  Use (Copy) on the printer.
2. PC/Note book
  
  Start up Kodak Verite Copying/Scanning application.
3. Smartphone/Tablet
  
  Start up Kodak Verite app.

Connect another PC, Laptop, Smartphone or Tablet

For installation of a second device to the Kodak Verité printer, please install the Kodak Verité PC driver or app on your second device. Each device needs its own PC drivers or app to connect to the Kodak Verité printer.

Wi-Fi Performance

When performing network connections, make sure the device is not placed too far away from the Access Point/Router and the Access Point/Router is powered on and its settings are correct. If you need additional help on network problems, visit our website at www.kodakverite.com/support.
If the signal range of your router or gateway doesn't seem adequate for your needs, you may be able to improve the range by changing the location of the router.

For Wi-Fi Connection:
Cannot be connected to a public Wi-Fi network such as a Hotspot.
