Select [ _USER] in Step 2 in "To
Select a Rule for Naming Folders",
and press the four-way controller
(5).
The folder naming screen appears.
"_USER" has already been entered.

Use the four-way controller (2345) to select the
letter to enter, and press the 4 button.
The first letter is fixed and the cursor moves to the second letter.

Repeat Step 2 and enter the remaining letters.

Press the four-way controller (4)
while "A" is selected, or press (35)
while "_" is selected.
The frame moves to [Settings complete].

Press the 4 button twice.
The folder name is fixed, and returns to the [W Setting 2] menu.
• You can move the cursor for selecting letters by using the e-dial.
• The folder name you have set is displayed in the [R Setting 2] menu.

Changing the Naming System for Files

You can change the naming system for files of storing images.
Choice
IMGP
IMGPxxxx (xxxx is the automatically assigned 4-digit file number)
(Default
The file number follows the setting character which is specified to the
setting)

AAAAxxxx (xxxx is the automatically assigned 4-digit file number)
USER
The file number follows the name you have entered.
