If the starter is faulty, you can try to
start the car by letting it run down a
steep hill.

Apply the handbrake.
Switch on the ignition.
Depress the clutch pedal.
Engage second gear.
Push the accelerator pedal to the floor.
Release the handbrake.
Carefully release the clutch.
