Uninstalling The Modem - US Robotics 56K USB Faxmodem Quick Installation Manual

! PhoneTools software lets you send and receive faxes.
To install any of these programs:
1. Eject the USRobotics Installation CD-ROM and re-insert it into the
CD-ROM drive.
If the USRobotics Installation CD-ROM does not start automatically:
A. Click Windows Start > Run.
B. In the Run dialogue box, type
drive letter assigned to your CD-ROM drive.
2. If prompted, select your language and accept the End User License
Agreement.
3. Select
Software
4. Select the software that you want to install.
5. Click and follow the on-screen instructions to install the soft-

ware.
To see the additional software tools for your modem, select Software on
the USRobotics Installation CD-ROM.

Uninstalling the Modem

To remove the 56K Faxmodem USB from your computer:
Windows Vista
1. Click Windows Start > Control Panel.
2. Click Programs > Programs and Features.
3. Select U.S. Robotics 56K Faxmodem USB and click Uninstall.
4. If prompted for permission, click Continue.
5. When Windows completes the uninstallation, disconnect the modem
from the phone line and your computer.
* You must subscribe to Call Waiting service with your telephone service provider in order
to use the "Modem On Hold" feature.
