Do not use hot or boiling water to fill clean water tank. ■ Remove the clean water tank (2.2) on the FRONT of the Steam Mop. ■ Twist the cap counter clockwise to remove (2.3). ■ Fill the water tank with 500ml of water. Replace the water cap and twist clockwise until tightly secure. ■ Ensure hard water filter is in place (see page 13). ■ Slide the clean water tank down and snap into place (2.5).     how to Use (continued) steAm CleAning hArd floors WARNING 2.13 2.14 Never leave the Steam Mop in one spot on any surface for an extended period of time with a damp or wet Microfiber pad attached as this may damage the floor surface. Your Steam Mop should only be used on tiles, linoleum or sealed wood flooring. If used on wax flooring, you may experience loss of glossiness. This steam mop may not be suitable for all floating floorboards – please check with your 2.15 2.16 floorboard manufacturer prior to use.     ■ Turn the steamer off, and unplug. ■ Let it cool completely. ■ Remove the microfiber pad and inspect the steam port on the bottom of the nozzle for blockages. If a blockage can be seen, use a small thin object such as a paperclip to try to free the blockage (5.2). ■ If the steam path is still blocked, then remove the screw on the back of the tube (5.3, A) that runs down to the nozzle. ■ Once the screw is removed, the nozzle can be removed by pulling straight downward away from the main body of the steamer. ■ After the nozzle is removed, examine the small hole on the end of the tube extending from the steamer. Using a thin object such as a paperclip, attempt to remove the blockage (5.3, B). ■ If the steam path is still blocked, take the product to an authorized Hoover Service representative.
