4. TIPS FOR USE

A. Chopping or Puréeing

Chopping/mixing blade
• To chop food, use the chopping/mixing blades.
Insert these as described in section 3C.
• Make sure the ingredients are precut before adding them to the
feed tube.
• Push and release the

only the leafy parts. Place the herbs in the bowl and press
several times, until the herbs are chopped enough. If dried well
before being chopped, aromatic herbs can be kept 4 to 5 days in
the refrigerator.
• To chop meat, poultry, fish and seafood, the food must be very
cold but not frozen. Cut the items into 3 cm pieces. Press
to chop roughly. Make sure the quantities do not exceed those

• To slice average sized round fruit and vegetables like apples or
onions, cut the ends so that the fruit or vegetable can lie flat on
the disc.
• Select fruit or vegetables that are firm and not too ripe.
• Remove the core and seeds or stones before slicing.
• Fill the crescent-moon shaped feed tube according to the
desired result.
• For long slices or strips, cut the food lengthwise equal to
the length of the feed tube and fit the pieces into the tube
horizontally.
• Do not exceed the MAX level indicated on the lid. To cut into
rounds (carrots, cucumbers and other long vegetables), cut the
food to the height of the tube and place the pieces vertically.

Make sure you don't fill the chute too tightly to avoid blocking

like bananas, mushrooms, strawberries or tomatoes, press very
