Clean the PIC Box
This section gives the procedure to clean the ink off of the PIC box. Do
this as necessary, to prevent print defects.
Clean the PIC Box Lower Surface
If the lower surface of the PIC box has ink build up, it can cause print
defects. Clean the lower surface of the PIC box as necessary to prevent
print defects.
NOTE
If applicable, record the data for each incident in a database and/or log
book.
1. Select Fast Stop.
WARNING
Pinch hazard can cause damage to hands and fingers at these places:
•
Between two buckets
•
Between outer most bucket and bucket frame on the left side
•
Between inner most bucket and bucket frame on the right side
2. If necessary, move the PIC box to a position where it can be cleaned.
3. Pull out the carriage rail (Figure 14).
a. Rotate the lock handles counterclockwise.
b. Pull out the carriage rail to the service position.
