4-3 Electrical wiring connections to heat pump unit
Connect the heat pump unit and tank unit as follows.

(1) Be absolutely sure to connect the L1, L2, L3, N terminals on the tank unit with its respective terminal
on the HP unit (L1-L1, L2-L2, L3-L3, N-N).
(2) Connect the COM terminals on the tank unit and on the heat pump unit using a 1-conductor cable.

(3) Use Ring Terminals to do the power cable connection.
<Terminal block connections>
(1) Remove the two screws of the wiring clamp (in both place).
(2) Following the figure on the right connect the cables to the
terminals block. First crimp Ring Terminals onto the ends
of the cables, and then connect them.
(3) Secure the 4 wires for the Power Supply using the wiring
clamp on the left, and secure the COM wire and grounding
wire using the wiring clamp on the right.
Secure the wires where the cables are covered.
4-4 Grounding work
• Be absolutely sure to ground the tank unit and heat pump unit from their respective terminal block.
• Do not ground the tank unit and HP unit to a water pipe or gas pipe and do not use other appliances'
ground.
