LOGS WITH PRESSURE ON TOP
(FIGURE 3)
1. Observe all safety precautions.
2. Begin with an upper cut, down from the top. Do not
cut too deeply. A cut of about 1/3 of the log diameter
is enough.
3. Finish with a bottom cut. They should meet.

THICK LOGS LARGER THAN BAR LENGTH
WITH PRESSURE ON TOP (FIGURE 4)
1. Observe all safety precautions.
2. Begin by cutting on the opposite side of the log.
3. Pull the saw towards you and cut from the top.
4. Cut from the bottom. Make a boring cut if the log is
close to the ground.
5. Finish with a bottom cut.
