22. Optical Unit Removal

Chapter 22 - Optical Unit Removal
The optical unit contains the video output portion of the TV in one assembly with three colored LCD panels and
the C board. The optical unit is held in with just two screws, but the TV board assembly and the power block
board must be pulled out to access these screws. The optical unit is replaced as an assembly.
Procedure
a) Remove the lower back panel and the three support brackets (Figure 22-1)
