Important safeguards
• The instruction manual contains important
operating and maintenance instructions. For
your safety, it is necessary to refer the manual.
Keep the manual for use in future.
• Do not hit or drop the unit.
• Do not expose the unit to vibration,
direct sunlight, too high or low temperature or
humidity.
• If you are not going to use the unit within
a long period of time, remove the batteries to
avoid their leakage.
• Do not use the unit near TV sets,
computers, fluorescent lamps and other electric
equipment; this may jam AM reception.
• Do not disassemble the unit yourselves.
Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
Power supply

Battery operation

• Open the battery compartment cover.
Insert 1 x AA battery. Please observe correct
battery polarity or the unit will not work. Close
the battery compartment cover.
• When the battery is exhausted, it should
be replaced.
AС operation
• The appliance is for household use only.
• Before the first connecting of the appliance
check that voltage indicated on the rating label
corresponds the mains voltage in your home.
• Insert the plug into the power supply.
General operation
Clock
The clock starts working as soon as
batteries are inserted. To set the clock, rotate
the Clock regulator until the hour and minute
hands show the correct time.
Instruction manual
AUX input
You can connect the audio output of an
external device (such as a CD-player) to
this unit, to listen to the sound of that device
through the amplifier of this unit. To connect an
external audio device, please use a standard
stereo cable (not included) with 3.5 mm to 3.5
mm plugs to connect the headphone out or
audio line-out of the external device to the AUX
input of this unit. Turn on the external device.
Its sound will be output through the speakers
of this unit.
Radio operation
• Set ON/OFF/AUTO switch to ON position.
• Set USB/FM/AM switch to FM or AM
position to select a band. Rotate TUNING
regulator to tune to the needed frequency. The
current frequency will be shown in the display.
• Rotate VOLUME regulator to adjust the
sound volume level.
Antenna
• For FM reception, adjust the extend the
wire FM antenna to its full length to obtain the
best reception on the band selected.
• The AM signals are picked up through the
built-in antenna. The set should be placed to
an appropriate position for the best reception.
USB operation
• Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port
of this unit.
• Set USB/FM/AM switch to USB position.
Playback will start automatically from the first
track.
• Press
button to pause playback. Press
this button again to resume playback.
• Press
button to go to previous track.
Press and hold this button for fast reverse;
release the button when the needed playback
point is found.
