Brakelight Switch Adjustment
Refer to Saf ety Precautions
Rear Brake Only:
Check the operation of the rear brakelight switch ( ) at the right side
behind the engine from time to time. The brakelight should turn on at
0.6 in (15 mm) of pedal stroke. See
page 202 . Adjustment is done by turning the adjusting nut ( ). Turn the
nut in direction ( ) if the switch operates too late and in direction ( ) if A
the switch operates too soon.
