Notes:
• When Location is set to Home, this feature can set
to On.
• 1 minute before switching to standby, a warning
message will appear.
• The TV will automatically turn itself off after
approximately 1 hour if you do not operate the TV
(after turned on by On Timer).

Setting No Signal Power Down

The TV will automatically turn itself off after 15 minutes
when no signal is detected� You can change the setting to
Off for the following purposes:
• Low signal strength of analog channel (no signal detection)
• Only Audio L/R is connected to an external input in
order to listen to music through the TV speakers�

From the Energy Saving Settings menu, press Q �

Press s or r to select No Signal Power Down ,
and then press Q �

Press s or r to select the item you want to change,
and press v or w to select On or Off �
Notes:
• Default setting is all On.
• A warning message will appear 1 minute before
turning off.

The timers

Setting a Programme Timer
This feature will set the television to go to a specific
channel at a certain time� It can be used to view a
particular programme or, by setting the mode to daily or
weekly, can be used to view a series of programmes�

Press MENU , and then press v or w to select the
APPLICATIONS menu�

Press s to select Programme Timers , and then
press Q �

Press s if necessary to select an open timer position,
and then press Q � The Edit Timer menu will now
appear on screen�

When all the details have been entered , select Set
Timer and press Q to save the timer�
The Programme Timer indicator ( - page 9) will
appear orange� When the programme timer activates,
the indicator will change from orange to red�

Press P u to advance to the next page, or press P U to
go back to the previous page�
Note:
When a timed programme is about to start, an
information screen will appear offering the option of
watching or cancelling the programme. The menus and
other channels will not be available during the timed
programme unless the programme timer is cancelled.
On Timer
The feature allows you to set the TV to turn on
automatically to a preset channel or input at a certain time
of day or after a certain length of time� When On Timer is
set to On , the green on timer indicator on the front of the
TV is lit ( - page 9)�
