Lens Correction

Reduces distortions and lateral chromatic aberrations occurring
due to lens properties. (The default setting is P (Off).)
Caution
• The Lens Correction function can only be used with a D FA or FA
lens. This function is not available when using other lenses.
• The Lens Correction function is disabled when using an accessory
such as an extension tube or rear converter that is attached
between the camera and the lens.
• The shooting speed for continuous shooting may be slower when
[Lens Correction] is set to O (On).
• The effects of the Lens Correction function may be barely
noticeable in some cases due to the shooting conditions or other
factors.
Memo
• When [RAW] or [RAW+] is selected as the file format, the
correction information is saved as a RAW file parameter.

• When [1. Program Line] is selected for [29. Green Button in TAv
& M] (p.R34) in the [A1] menu in L or a mode.

Basic Program Automatic Exposure (default
setting)
Program Automatic Exposure that prioritizes
high shutter speeds.
Program Automatic Exposure that creates a
deep depth of field.
Program Automatic Exposure that creates a
shallow depth of field.
Program Automatic Exposure that prioritizes the
best aperture value for the attached lens.
