3.2.1 Selecting PC Sources

PC and MAC and RGB sources come in a variety resolutions, and only one of them fits the screen's
16x9 aspect ratio exactly. For the others, you may choose how to expand the picture to fill the frame.
Most of the Selecting process can be automatic.
Selecting the PC source
1. Aim the remote control at the upper left
corner of the screen, and press
the remote control. This opens the Source
Select menu, which is divided into three
sections. You control the upper left part;
the other two sections only display infor-
mation.
2. Highlight the upper pair of arrows.
3. With the left-right arrow buttons on the
remote, choose either PC1 or PC2. On the
right side of the menu, you see the
choices, and a bullet (dot) shows what is
currently selected.
4. The electronics will now automatically
choose the correct Mode (in this case, res-
olution) to display the picture:
• 640x480 [VGA]
• 800x600 [SVGA]
• 832x624 [a MAC resolution]
• 852x480 [fits the screen exactly]
