On this system, you can watch JPEG images that have been
captured and stored in memory cards using a digital still
camera.

Readable memory cards

This system can read memory cards that conform to the
PCMCIA Type pp and whose formats are the FAT12, FAT16,
FAT32, or VFAT.

Readable data files

This system can read only JPEG files that meet the following
conditions:
• Extensions are JPG or JPEG.
• JPEG 4:2:2 and 4:2:0 format
• The image resolution must be less than 2400 pixels in the
horizontal direction and 1800 pixels in the vertical direction.
• The image resolution must be higher than 160 pixels in the
horizontal direction and 120 pixels in the vertical direction.

Image data display
• This system may not be able to display images, depending
on the type of your PC CARD adapter or memory card.
• This system may not be able to display images modified or
edited using a personal computer or other equipment.

Inserting a memory card

Open the front door on the Media Receiver.

Hold the memory card with its top side facing upward,
and then insert it into the PC CARD slot.
• Insert the memory card as far as it goes.
• When you insert the memory card while the system is
on, the initial Home Gallery screen appears.

Close the front door on the Media Receiver.

Removing a memory card

To remove a memory card, quit the memory card screen, and
then push the PC CARD eject button. The memory card is
ejected.
• Be sure to quit the Home Gallery screen before removing
the memory card. If you remove the memory card while the
Home Gallery screen is in display, data in the memory card
may be damaged.
• Do not insert or remove a memory card into/from the PC
CARD slot immediately after the system is switched on or
off. This may cause data in the memory card to be dam-
aged.
