SECTION 7—SEAT AND BACK

Installing/Removing a Seating System

NOTE: If a seating system is being used on the wheelchair, refer to your particular seating system
manufacturerʹs Ownerʹs Manual for installation and removal of the seating system.

Removing/Installing the Seat Pan

NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 7.7.
NOTE: Only perform this procedure if changing to a new seat pan of the exact same width and
depth.
Removing
NOTE: If a seating system is being used on the wheelchair, refer to your particular seating system
manufacturerʹs Ownerʹs Manual for installation and removal of the seating system.
1. Remove seating system from wheelchair.
2. Remove the four mounting screws that secure the seat pan to the seat rails.
3. Remove existing seat pan and discard.
Installing
1. Position the new seat pan on seat rails.
2. Secure with the existing four mounting screws. Securely tighten.
3. Reinstall seating system onto wheelchair.
