Connecting to a TV which has no Audio and Video Input Jacks

You can connect your Camcorder to a TV through a VCR.
1. Connect the Camcorder to your VCR with the Multi-
AV cable.
I The yellow jack: Video
I The white jack: Audio(L) - Mono
I The red jack: Audio(R)
2. Connect a TV to the VCR.
3. Set the Power switch to PLAYER.
4. Set the Mode switch to TAPE.
5. Turn on both the TV and VCR.
I Set the input selector on the VCR to Line.
I Select the channel reserved for your VCR on
the TV set.
6. Play the tape.
Playback

You can play the recorded tape in Player mode.
1. Connect a power source and set the Power switch to
PLAYER.
2. Set the Mode switch to TAPE.
3. Insert the tape you wish to play back.
4. Using the / (REW/FF) buttons, find the first position
you wish to play back.
5. Press the (PLAY/STILL) button.
I The images you recorded will appear on the TV after a
few seconds.
I If a tape reaches its end while being played back, the tape will rewind
automatically.
[ Notes ]
I The playback mode (SP/LP) is determined by the mode in which the tape
was recorded.
I If the VCR has an S-Video input terminal, you may use S-Video Connector
for better quality.
I The S-Video Connector transmits video only. Connect Audio cables for sound.
I If only a mono audio input is available on the TV set, use the audio cable with
the white jack (Audio L).

Les images que vous avez enregistrées apparaissent sur l'écran de votre
téléviseur au bout de quelques secondes.

Lorsqu'une cassette arrive en fin de bande pendant la lecture, elle se
rembobine automatiquement.

Le mode de lecture (SP/LP) dépend du mode d'enregistrement de la
cassette.
I
Si le magnétoscope possède une prise d'entrée S-Vidéo, vous obtiendrez
une meilleure qualité en utilisant une connexion S Vidéo.
I
Seules des données vidéo peuvent transiter par la prise S-Vidéo. Connectez
les câbles Audio pour le son.
I
Si seule l'entrée audio mono est disponible sur votre téléviseur, utilisez la
prise blanche du câble audio.
1. Reliez le caméscope au magnétoscope à l'aide du
câble Multi-AV.

2. Raccordez un téléviseur au magnétoscope.
3. Placez l'interrupteur Power sur PLAYER.
4. Placez l'interrupteur Mode sur TAPE.
5. Allumez le téléviseur et le magnétoscope.

Réglez le sélecteur d'entrée du magnétoscope
sur Ligne.
I
Sélectionnez le canal réservé aux
magnétoscopes sur le téléviseur.
6. Lancez la lecture de la cassette.
Lecture
✤ Vous pouvez lire la cassette enregistrée en mode Player.
1. Branchez l'appareil sur une source d'alimentation et placez
l'interrupteur Power sur PLAYER.
2. Placez l'interrupteur Mode sur TAPE.
3. Insérez la cassette que vous souhaitez lire.
4. A l'aide des boutons /
recherchez la première séquence que vous souhaitez lire.
5. Appuyez sur le bouton
