USB Interface
Selecting the USB Device
✤
The USB Version function works only in M.Cam and M.Player modes.
✤
To ensure proper communication between the camcorder and a PC, please
set the USB Version before connecting the Camcorder to a PC.
1. Set the Power switch to CAMERA or PLAYER.
2. Set the Mode switch to MEMORY.
3. Press the MENU button.
I The menu list will appear.
4. Move the Menu selector to the left or right to select System,
then press the Menu selector.
5. Move the Menu selector to the left or right to select USB
Version, then press the Menu selector.
6. Move the Menu selector to the left or right to select USB 1.1
or USB 2.0, then press the Menu selector.
I Set the USB Version to USB 2.0 when it is supported by
both PC and its OS (Operating System).
I If either the PC or OS does not support USB 2.0, set the
USB Version to USB 1.1.
7. To exit, press the MENU button.
[ Notes ]
I When USB Version is not set properly, the USB connection
may fail to establish.
I USB 2.0 may not be supported by certain PCs depending on
their specifications.
In this case, choose the USB 1.1 for USB connection.
I If USB 2.0 is not supported by the PC, USB 1.1 will automatically be used for
the USB connection.

✤ La fonction Version USB n'est accessible qu'en modes M.Cam et M.Player.

Lorsque la version USB 2.0 est sélectionnée mais n'est pas prise en charge par
votre ordinateur, la connexion USB est automatiquement une connexion USB 1.1.
1. Placez l'interrupteur Power sur CAMERA ou PLAYER.
2. Placez l'interrupteur Mode sur MEMORY.
3. Appuyez sur le bouton MENU.

La liste des menus apparaît.
4. Déplacez le bouton Menu selector vers la gauche ou
vers la droite pour sélectionner System <Système> puis
appuyez sur Menu selector.
5. Déplacez le bouton Menu selector vers la gauche ou
vers la droite pour sélectionner USB Version <version
USB> puis appuyez sur Menu selector.
6. Déplacez le bouton Menu selector vers la gauche ou
vers la droite pour sélectionner USB 1.1 ou USB 2.0,
puis appuyez sur Menu selector.

Réglez la version du transfert USB sur USB 2.0
lorsque celle-ci est prise en charge à la fois par
l'ordinateur et par son système d'exploitation.

Si ce n'est pas le cas pour l'un d'entre eux, réglez la
version sur USB 1.1.
7. Pour quitter le menu, appuyez sur le bouton MENU.
[ Remarques ]
I
Lorsque la version USB n'est pas réglée correctement, la
connexion USB risque de ne pas s'établir.
I
Il est possible que la version USB 2.0 ne puisse être pris
en charge par certains ordinateurs, selon leurs
spécifications. Dans ce cas, choisissez la version USB
1.1 pour votre connexion USB.
