Controlling Sound from the Speaker

The Speaker works only in Player mode.
✤
When you use the LCD screen for playback, you will hear recorded sound
from the built-in Speaker.
- Take the following steps to lower the volume or mute the sound while
playing a tape on the Camcorder.
1. Set the Power switch to PLAYER.
2. Set the Mode switch to TAPE.
3. Press the (PLAY/STILL) to play the tape.
4. Use the Menu selector to adjust the volume.
I A volume level display will appear on the LCD screen.
Levels may be adjusted from anywhere between 00 to
19. You will not hear any sound when the volume is set
on 00.
I If you close the LCD screen while playing, you will not
hear sound from the speaker.
[ Notes ]
I When the AV cable is connected to the Camcorder, you will
not hear sound from the Built-In Speaker and cannot adjust
the volume.
I The sound will return when you remove the connected AV
cable from the jack of your Camcorder.

✤ Le haut-parleur fonctionne uniquement en mode Player.
✤ Lorsque les images sont lues sur l'écran ACL, vous pouvez entendre le son
enregistré grâce au haut-parleur intégré.
- Procédez comme suit pour diminuer le volume sonore ou désactiver le
son lors de la lecture d'une cassette sur le caméscope.

1. Placez l'interrupteur Power sur PLAYER.
2. Placez l'interrupteur Mode sur TAPE.
3. Appuyez sur le bouton <LECTURE/PAUSE> pour
lire la cassette.
4. Utilisez le bouton Menu selector pour régler le volume.

L'affichage du volume sonore apparaît sur l'écran ACL.
Le volume varie entre 00 et 19. Aucun son n'est émis
lorsque le volume est réglé sur 00.
I Si vous rabattez l'écran ACL en cours de lecture, vous
n'entendrez plus aucun son en provenance du haut-
parleur.
[ Remarques ]
I
Lorsque le câble AV est raccordé au caméscope, aucun
son n'est émis par le haut-parleur intégré et le volume ne
peut pas être réglé.
I
Pour rétablir le son, il vous suffit de débrancher le câble
AV de la prise du caméscope.
