To select the CAMCORDER mode

✤ If you want to use this unit as a camcorder,
set the mode switch to TAPE position.

CAMERA mode (TAPE record mode)
1. Set the mode switch to TAPE.
2. Set the power switch to CAMERA.

PLAYER mode
(TAPE playback mode)
1. Set the mode switch to TAPE.
2. Set the power switch to PLAYER.

To select the DSC (Digital Still Camera) mode

✤ If you want to use this unit as a DSC
(Digital Still Camera), set the mode switch to
MEMORY position.
