Direct listed traffic problems, e.g. "105 km
one lane closed" indicate that the information
affects the current itinerary.
Cursor on a traffic problem + OK shows fur-
ther information and position on map - see

Extent of traffic problem

This function shows an overview of the extent
of the traffic problem.
Traffic problem with its extent.
Certain traffic problems are not just tied to
one single position, but can cover a longer
section.
In addition to the symbol for the position of
the traffic problem, the current distance is
also highlighted with a row of red crosses
"xxxxx".

The length of the highlighting corre-
sponds to the extent (distance) of the
traffic problem.
•
Driving direction is indicated by the side
of the road that is highlighted.
Size of area for traffic information
The scale of the map determines how much
traffic information (p. 73) can be shown - the
larger the map area shown on the screen, the
more traffic disruptions can be displayed.
