Executing the Windows 95, 98, and NT Diagnostic
Program
1 Verify that the RealPort CardBus Ethernet 10/100+Modem 56
has been installed and configured to work in your version of
Windows.
2 Insert the Xircom CD-ROM.
3 Select Start, Run, [path]CBEDIAG.EXE, where [path] is the
drive containing the Xircom CD-ROM.
4 Navigate through the diagnostic program by clicking the
appropriate tab. When finished, click OK to exit.
Executing the MS-DOS/Windows 3.x Diagnostic Program
CBETEST can only be run from the MS-DOS command line. It
cannot be run from a DOS box within Windows.
1 Install the RealPort CardBus Ethernet 10/100+Modem 56
according to the instructions contained in Chapter 1. Hard-
ware Installation.
2 Power down and restart the computer from MS-DOS. DO NOT
load a network driver.
3 Run the diagnostic test by typing [path]CBETEST at the MS-
DOS prompt, where [path] is the drive containing the Xircom
CD-ROM, then press Enter.
