Never open the pod insertion lever while the drink is being dispensed.
Each pod introduced ejects the previous one, causing it to
fall into the drawer (fig. 6)
The drawer must be emptied when it is full of pods.
An automatic timer turns off the supply of liquid after two
minutes; the voltage light could flash indicating the protec-
tive devices limiting the maximum temperature has cut in
but this will not alter the quality of the drink.
For coffee dispensing we suggest a maximum time of 90
seconds.
Steam dispenser
This function is used to prepare cappuccino or caffé latte,
after adding milk to the coffee dispensed by the Matinée.
- Turn the steam spout outwards.
- Immerse the steam spout in the cup containing the
coffee and the milk that has been added in the
quantity required (fig. 7).
Press the "steam dispenser" button.
To stop the steam press the STOP button.
To make sure that the steam spout is properly cleaned after each use, we advise you to
immediately remove the cup with whipped milk or cappuccino and spray another jet of
steam for 5-10 seconds.
For steam dispensing we suggest a maximum time of 60 seconds.
Note: the steam dispenser button can also be used to heat any other type of drink
Hot water dispensing
To dispense hot water, position the steam spout in the cup and press the
"hot water dispensing" button.
To stop the flow, press the STOP button.
For hot water dispensing we suggest a maximum time of 30 seconds.
