To install the front speaker on a wall
• Contact a screw shop or installer regarding the wall material or screws to be used.
• Use screws that are suitable for the wall material and strength. As a plaster board wall is especially fragile, attach
the screws securely to a beam and fasten them to the wall. Install the speaker on a vertical and flat wall where
reinforcement is applied.
• Be sure to subcontract the installation to Sony dealers or licensed contractors and pay special attention to safety
during the installation.
• Sony is not responsible for accidents or damage caused by improper installation, insufficient wall strength or
improper screw installation, natural calamity, etc.
1
Connect the speaker cord to the front speaker.
For details, see "To connect the speaker cord to the front speaker" (page 18).
2
Prepare screws (not supplied) that are suitable for the holes on the back of the speaker.
See the illustrations below.
1m
• The length and type of the screw are examples. Select screws in accordance with the material or strength of
the wall to which you install the speaker.
3

1/ 4
inch).
4
Hang the speaker onto the screws.
Align the holes on the back of the speaker to the screws, then hang the speaker onto the two screws.
