Wiring your 352 Icing Station

ou may choose to power your Icing Station with a Lionel LockOn, your transformer, or a
separate accessory power supply. This accessory requires 12-18 volts (AC). Refer to Figure 2
for the complete wiring diagram.
You need the ends of the wires to be stripped back 1/4" to 3/8". To strip the

wires, use a pair of wire strippers or a sharp knife. Only an adult should per-
form this task! Always use care when stripping wires.
1. Attach one wire to either of the spring clip terminals and connect it to one
of the accessory terminals on your power supply.
Spring clip terminal connections: Press down on the top of the terminal clip so that a
metal loop is exposed. Slide the bare end of the wire into the exposed loop. Release pressure
on the terminal clip, allowing the crimped metal to pinch the end of the wire in the metal
loop. Give a little tug on the wire to check if the hold is secure.
2. Attach another wire to the remaining spring clip terminal on the Icing
Station and connect it to the screw terminal on the small switch that was
included with the accessory.
3. Attach a final wire from the other switch terminal and connect it to the
other accessory terminal on your power supply.
