Document transport mechanism

• The transport roller turns to transport the original that has been taken up onto the docu-
ment scanning position of the printer.
• The transport motor drives the transport roller through a gear train.
• When the original reaches the document scanning position, the registration sensor
mounted on the relay board is unblocked by the actuator, which causes the printer to
determine that there is an original.
