SAFETY RULES 1. Before you begin installing the fan, shut power off at the circuit breaker of the fuse box. 2. Be cautious! Read all instructions and safety information before installing your new fan. Review accompanying assembly diagrams. 3. Make sure that all electrical connections comply with local codes, ordinances, or National Electrical Codes. Hire a qualified electrician or consult a do-it-yourself wiring handbook if you are unfamiliar with installing electrical wiring.

ATTENTION: ATTENTION: The Energy Policy Act of 2005 requires this fan to be equipped with a 190 watt limiting device. If lamping exceeds 190 watts, the ceiling fan's light kit will shut off automatically. NOTE: The important safeguards and instructions appearing in this manual are not meant to cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur.
PACKAGE CONTENTS Unpack your fan and check the contents. You should have the following items: 1. Fan blades (4) 12b. Wall plate w/2 mounting screws 2. Hanger bracket 13. Balancing kit 3. Canopy 4. Canopy cover A. Mounting hardware: 5a. Standard downrod assembly #10 x 1.5 Wood screws (2 PCs.) 5b.
INSTALLING THE FAN Tools Required: Phillips screw driver; slotted screw driver; step-ladder; wire cutters; electrical tape. PARALLEL WOOD BRACE CEILING (MIN. 2" THICK) MOUNTING OPTIONS JOIST CROSS BRACE OUTLET If there isn't an existing mounting box, then read the following instructions. Disconnect the power by removing fuses or turning off circuit breakers.
BLADE INSTALLATION Step 1. (Fig. 5) Remove the upper cover by remove the 4 screws from the motor. SCREWS SCREWS Step 2. (Fig. 6) Insert the blade through the UPPER UPPER access window from the blade holder. Align COVER COVER SCREWS holes from the blade and motor and secure with 3 screws and fiber washers.
HANGING THE FAN Step 4. Carefully feed fan wires up through the downrod. (Fig. 11) WARNING: All of the parts, hardware and components such as the hanger Thread Downrod into the Coupling until the holes are lined up and bracket and hanger ball have been provided for your safety and the secure with the Threaded Pin previously removed, tighten Set Screws.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS Follow the steps below to connect the fan to your house supply wires. Use the wire nuts supplied with your fan. Secure the wire nuts by wrapping the connection with electrical tape. Step 1. Disconnect the power and remove the existing wall plate and switch from the wall junction box. (Fig. 14) Step 2.

INSTALLING THE WALL CONTROL SWITCH OUTLET BOX SCREWS WALL PLATE Remember to shut the power off at the circuit breaker or fuse box. SCREWS WARNING: HOOK UP IN "SERIES ONLY" DO NOT CONNECT THE HOT AND NEUTRAL WIRES OF ELECTRIC CIRCUIT TO THE WALL CONTROL - DAMAGE TO THE SWITCH AND POSSIBLE FIRE COULD OCCUR.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION OUTLET BOX Step 1. Remove 1 of the 2 screws from the bottom of the hanger bracket and loosen the other one half a turn from the screw head. HANGER BRACKET Step 2. Slide the canopy up towards the hanger bracket and place the key hole on the canopy over the screw on the hanger bracket, turn canopy until it locks in place at the narrow section of the key holes.
INSTALLING THE LIGHT KIT MOUNTING PLATE Step 1. Remove 1 of 3 screws from the mounting ring and loosen the other 2 screws. (Do not remove) Step 2. Place the key holes from the light kit mounting plate over the 2 screws previously loosened from the mounting ring, turn Light kit mounting plate until it locks in place at the narrow section of the key holes.
INSTALLING THE LIGHT PLATE NOTE: Before starting installation, make sure power is turned off at the circuit breaker. 1. Remove 1 of 3 screws from the light kit mounting plate and loosen the other 2 screws. (Do not remove) 2. Raise and hold the light plate close to the light kit mounting plate and proceed to do the wire connections.
INSTALLING THE LIGHT BULB & GLASS SHADE WARNING: Shut of the power supply before removing or replacing lamp. In handling of halogen bulb, care should be taken not to touch it with your bare hands. Oil residue will shorten the life of the halogen bulb. If you accidentally come into contact, wipe thoroughly with a clean, lint-free, cotton cloth.

Warm weather - (Forward) A downward airflow creates a cooling effect as shown in Fig. 23. This allows you to set your air conditioner on a warmer setting without affecting your comfort. Cool weather - (Reverse) An upward airflow moves warm air off the ceiling area as shown in Fig.
