SUPER-FIRE
CSA APPROVED FOR NATURAL GAS OR PROPANE GAS
■ The Flue Damper must be in the
full open position when burning the
gas logs.
■ This fireplace is to be burned only
with the gas log set supplied with the
fireplace. Burning other items could
cause a fire hazard or injury.
■ For best results, Natural Gas pressure
should be 7" to 12" W.C. and 11" W.C.
for Propane Gas.
■ To simulate real wood burning, the gas
burner is designed to burn a yellow
flame. It is normal for the logs to soot-
up. The soot can be easily removed
with a vacuum cleaner or soft brush.
■ Check the label on the firebox to
assure the proper gas type. Never
use anything but the correct gas type
for your fireplace.

Questions and answers
I have two of the SF3624-TV gas fireplaces in my home. Over the 13 years since the home was built we have used each unit 10-15 times. I recently was wanting to use them - followed the normal steps and got the pilot lights lit but in turning the control knobs to On, it seems no gas is feeding through to start the main burners. I have opened the damper and nothing happens. What have I forgotten to do? What should I check? Thank you for any help. John Horton 864 423 5268
If the main burners of the Golden Blount SF3624-TV gas fireplace do not ignite after lighting the pilot lights, check the following:
1. Ensure the pilot flame is steady and properly engulfing the top 1/4 inch of the flame sensor.
2. Make sure there are no obstructions to the flow of combustion and ventilation air.
3. Verify the area around the appliance is clear of combustible materials and obstacles.
4. Confirm all components are approved and properly installed.
5. If issues persist, contact a qualified service technician.
